Il manoscritto è vergato in una grafia italiana semi-corsiva. Al f. 28r è presente un colophon con il luogo e la data di copia ad opera di Yeḥiel da Chianciano, figlio del medico Mordecai da Grosseto. Il volume è una miscellanea di testi medici, che contiene le seguenti opere: ai ff. 1r-18v il Sefer ha-memiyut veha-avirim, una traduzione dall’arabo del trattato di Ippocrate Peri aerōn, hydatōn, topōn (De aere, aquis, locis) con il commento di Galeno; ai ff. 19r-35v il Sefer roʿa mezeg mitḥalef, traduzione dal latino del trattato di Galeno Peri anomalous dyskrasias (De inaequali intemperie); ai ff. 36r-48v il Ha-seder ha-kaṭan, la traduzione ebraica di un’opera di Avicenna; ai ff. 49r-81r la traduzione ebraica dal latino di un trattato medico di Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Zakarīyā Rāzī (al-Rāzī); ai ff. 81v-90r troviamo il testo Hanhagat ha-na Raziarim ha-kaṭanim; ai ff. 90v-116v il Sefer haṭeḥorim di Solomon ben Joseph Ibn Ayyub. Infine, il manoscritto trasmette due testi in giudeo-italiano: la traduzione dal latino del trattato medico di Gentile da Foligno (ff. 28v-29v) e una poesia lirica (In quel monte c’è una fonte) al f. 30r, vergata da un copista sconosciuto in una grafia differente dal resto del manoscritto.

The manuscript is written in semi-cursive Italian script. On f. 28r there is a colophon with the place and date of copying by Yeḥiel from Chianciano, son of the physician Mordecai from Grosseto. The volume is a miscellany of medical texts which contains the following texts: on ff. 1r-18v the Sefer ha-memiyut veha-avirim, a translation from Arabic of Hippocrates’ treatise Peri aerōn, hydatōn, topōn (De aere, aquis, locis) with Galen’s commentary; on ff. 19r-35v the Sefer roʿa mezeg mitḥalef translation from the Latin of Galen’s treatise Peri anomalous dyskrasias (De inaequali intemperie); on ff. 36r-48v the Ha-seder ha-kaṭan Hebrew translation of a work by Avicenna; ff. 49r-81r the Hebrew translation from Latin of a medical treatise by Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Zakarīyā Rāzī (Rhazes); on ff. 81v-90r we find the text Hanhagat ha-na Raziarim ha-ḳaṭanim; on ff. 90v-116v the Sefer haṭeḥorim by Solomon ben Joseph Ibn Ayyub. Finally, the manuscript conveys two texts in Judeo-Italian: the translation from Latin of Gentile da Foligno’s medical treatise (ff. 28v-29v) and a lyric poem (In quel monte c'è una fonte) on f. 30r, written by an unknown copyist in a handwriting different from the rest of the manuscript.
