Codice descritto dal catalogo di Sacerdote (1897). La scrittura, duecentesca, è in caratteri rabbinici italiani. All’ultimo foglio trova posto un indice di tutte le preghiere contenute nel Maḥzor. Una nota in ebraico a f. 284r ci informa che il codice appartenne ad ʾAbraham Yehudah Kohen, che visse sotto il pontificato di Niccolò IV, come si deduce dall’annotazione di ʾAbraham relativa alla nascita di un figlio, chiamato Yaʿaqob, avvenuta il 20 Shevat 5052 (30 gennaio 1292), sotto il Papa Niccolò IV. In virtù di questa nota, per Scazzocchio Sestrieri (1988, 96) «il ms. non può essere posteriore al 1292», mentre la traduzione giudeo-italiana doveva essere di poco più antica.

The manuscript was described in the catalog by Sacerdote (1897). The 13th-century script is in Italian rabbinic characters. The final folio contains an index of all the prayers included in the Maḥzor. A Hebrew note on folio 284r informs us that the manuscript belonged to ʾAbraham Yehudah Kohen, who lived during the pontificate of Pope Nicholas IV, as evidenced by ʾAbrāhām's annotation regarding the birth of his son, Yaʿaqob, on 20 Shevat 5052 (January 30, 1292), during the papacy of Nicholas IV. Based on this note, Scazzocchio Sestrieri (1988, 96) concludes that the manuscript cannot be later than 1292, while the Jewish-Italian translation must have been slightly older.
