Una descrizione analitica del manufatto è fornita dal catalogo di Richler/Beit-Arié (2008, 382-383); la mano che verga il codice è in scrittura italiana semicorsiva. Un'iscrizione a f. 73r informa che il codice è stato redatto da Binyamin (si fa riferimento a Binyamin ben Yehudah Bozecco?) per il suo collega Yosef:  נכתב לידידי היקר החבר ר' יוסף בין פרת מבורכת השם ארצו על ידי בנימן אבי ידיד השם שכן לבטח («Scritto per il mio caro amico, il collega Rabbi Yosef ben Parat, la cui terra è benedetta dal Signore, da parte di Binyamin, servitore e amico del Signore. Che possa dimorare in sicurezza»). Il codice contiene varie opere filosofiche, etiche e grammaticali in ebraico, tra cui il Tikkun Middot ha-Nefeš (ff. 1r–23v) del poeta e filosofo neoplatonico Šelomoh ʾibn Gabirol, il commento di Maimonide al cap. X della Mišnah Sanhedrin (ff. 24v–36v), etc. In relazione al Libro delle forme verbali giudeo-italiano (ff. 171v-176r) si segnala, in particolare, il trattato grammaticale Mahalak ševile ha-da'at di Qimḥi (ff. 161r–171r), di cui il Libro funge da appendice volgare.

An analytical description of the manuscript is provided by the Richler/Beit-Arié catalog (2008, 382-383); the hand that writes the codex is in semi-cursive Italian script. An inscription on f. 73r informs that the manuscript was written by Binyamin (is reference made to Binyamin ben Yehudah Bozecco? ) for his colleague Yosef:  נכתב לידידי היקר החבר ר' יוסף בין פרת מבורכת השם ארצו על ידי בנימן אבי ידיד השם שכן לבטח ("Written for my dear friend, fellow Rabbi Yosef ben Parat, whose land is blessed by the Lord, from Binyamin, servant and friend of the Lord. May he dwell in safety.") The codex contains various philosophical, ethical and grammatical works in Hebrew, including the Tikkun Middot ha-Nefeš (ff. 1r-23v) by the Neo-Platonic poet and philosopher Šelomoh ʾibn Gabirol, Maimonides' commentary on ch. X of the Mišnah Sanhedrin (ff. 24v-36v), etc. In connection with the Judeo-Italian Book of Verbal Forms (ff. 171v-176r), special attention should be given to Qimḥi's grammatical treatise Mahalak ševile ha-da'at (ff. 161r-171r), of which the Book serves as a vernacular appendix.
